Dr. Mutikanga brings over 30 years of experience in civil engineering, water distribution, and power generation. He holds a PhD in Water Distribution Efficiency from Delft University of Technology and has previously served as General Manager for Kampala Water at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation. Under his leadership, UEGCL has overseen the development of major projects such as the Isimba and Karuma Hydroelectric Power Stations, significantly contributing to Uganda\u2019s energy capacity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ICOLD, founded in 1928, is a global organization dedicated to advancing dam engineering and water resource management. With 97-member countries, ICOLD provides a platform for professionals to share knowledge and best practices in the planning, design, construction, and operation of large dams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
