What is Salvation
Salvation is the greatest gift God has given to humanity — the gift of forgiveness, freedom, and eternal life through Jesus Christ. It is not something we can earn by our own works or efforts; it is a free act of grace made possible through what Christ has already accomplished on the cross. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus paid the price for our sins and opened the door for us to experience true peace with God. When we accept Him as Lord and Savior, we are not only forgiven but also restored into a loving relationship with our Heavenly Father, adopted into His family, and given the promise of a brand-new life filled with hope, purpose, and eternity with Him.
Why Do We Need Salvation
All of us fall short of God’s perfect standard, but through Jesus, we can find grace, forgiveness, and purpose. Salvation is about freedom from sin, hope for tomorrow, and peace with God today.
How Do I Receive Salvation
Salvation comes by believing in Jesus Christ, confessing your sins, and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Prayer of Salvation
“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Today I open my heart and invite You into my life. Be my Lord and Savior, and guide me from this day forward. Amen.”
