Baptism

Youth and Adults

Baptism is a powerful and public declaration of the inward transformation that takes place when we put our faith in Jesus Christ. It is far more than just a ritual — it is a testimony to the world that we have died to our old life of sin and been raised into a new life with Christ. When we go down into the water, it symbolizes being buried with Christ in His death, and when we rise from the water, it represents sharing in His resurrection and walking in the newness of life that only He can give.

What is Baptism

Baptism is a public declaration of an inward transformation. It symbolizes being buried with Christ in His death and rising with Him to new life. Through baptism, we demonstrate our faith, obedience, and commitment to follow Jesus.

Why Baptism Matters

Jesus Himself was baptized and commanded His followers to do the same (Matthew 28:19). Baptism is not what saves us — salvation comes through faith in Jesus — but it is an important step of obedience that shows the world we belong to Him.

When Should I Be Baptized

Baptism is for those who have made a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Once you believe in Him and receive salvation, baptism is your next step to outwardly declare your faith.

How We Do Baptism

We practice baptism by immersion in water, following the example set in Scripture. It is a joyful celebration shared with the church family as we witness the goodness of God in your life.
