Beijing Program Targets Impact and Innovation for Africa’s Future
KAMPALA – The Opul Skilling Foundation Africa (OSFA), a Ugandan based skills center has officially flagged off its staff to Beijing, China, for a specialized training in impact and innovative entrepreneurship skills development.
The training, which runs over the coming week, is aimed at sharpening the capacity of OSFA’s team to deliver world-class skilling programs back home, drawing lessons from China’s thriving innovation and enterprise ecosystem.
Building Capacity for Africa’s Youth
According to OSFA leadership, the initiative will empower their staff with hands-on expertise in entrepreneurship incubation, digital innovation, and sustainable wealth creation.
“This is not just a training, but an investment in the capacity of our foundation. By upskilling our staff in China, we ensure that the young people we serve in Uganda and Africa at large get the very best exposure to global standards of innovation,” the statement noted.
Strengthening Uganda–China Linkages
China continues to emerge as a global leader in entrepreneurship, digital trade, and manufacturing. OSFA’s participation in this program is expected to create fresh partnerships while opening opportunities for joint projects that benefit Ugandan innovators and communities.
A Leap Forward for OSFA
The flag-off marks another milestone in OSFA’s journey of empowering Africa through skilling and innovation. With the knowledge and exposure gained, the staff are expected to roll out transformative training models that can inspire thousands of young entrepreneurs in Uganda and beyond.
