Professional Career
Dr. Okidi’s professional journey encompasses significant roles in both the public and private sectors. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation, where he was instrumental in overseeing financial operations and strategic planning.
In 2016, he was appointed as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Water and Environment in Uganda. In this capacity, he has been responsible for setting national policies and standards, managing and regulating water and environmental resources, and determining priorities for water development and management in the country.
