
WfPRCE Team Conducts Site Inspections And Site Review Meetings For The Puwa And Bunakhaima Projects In Manafwa District.
A team from the Water for Production Regional Centre-East (WfPRCE), led by Regional Manager Patrick Okotel, conducted site inspections and review meetings for the Puwa and Banakhaima projects in Manafwa District yesterday. The inspection was attended by district officials, including the Resident District Commissioner (RDC), LC5 Chairperson, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), subcounty officials, and members of the local community.
The primary purpose of the site inspections was to evaluate the progress of the two projects, which are currently 95% and 90% complete, respectively. During the visits, the team identified some remaining tasks, such as farmer mapping and land preparation for gardening activities.
“We are pleased with the progress made so far and commend the efforts of WfPRCE,” said the RDC. “These projects will have a significant impact on our communities, and we look forward to their continued success.”
The Deputy CAO also expressed support for the projects, stating, “As a district, we are fully committed to supporting initiatives that foster agricultural development and economic growth. We are confident that these projects will improve the livelihoods of our people.”
