Road and Integrated Stormwater Management Project
Project Description:
This project focuses on critical civil infrastructure by upgrading key arterial roads while incorporating robust solutions for stormwater drainage and flood mitigation. The engineering scope covers the full reconstruction of roadway segments using superior pavement materials for durability.
Crucially, it involves extensive hydraulic civil works, including the design and construction of large-diameter box and pipe culverts, reinforced concrete line drains and roadside channels, and minor bridge structures. The integration of drainage is vital; channels are precisely graded and often lined to safely convey runoff to designated outfalls, protecting the road investment, minimizing erosion, and reducing flash flooding impacts on surrounding urban and rural settlements.
