KEDEP (Kolping Entrepreneurs Development Programme) is a Microfinace company of Uganda Kolping Society operating in two districts of Hoima and Mityana originally started as Women and Health Programme in 1993 and in 1995 as AFOS (African Fund for Self Employment; a joint venture of the German Catholic Entrepreneurs’ Association and International Kolping Society); then a totally new organ called KEDEP was conceived and inaugurated in 2003 and finally incorporated in September 2006 as KEDEP (U) Ltd; a company limitted by guarantee without share capital.
KEDEP’s vision is being “A Microfinance Institution that sustainably champions improved social economic lives of people in Uganda”.
KEDEP’s mission is “To provide quality and sustainable financial services to micro-entrepreneurs in Uganda, for improved social economic lives”.
