Why Volunteer With Us?

Transforming Lives, One Act of Service at a Time

Hope Line Action Uganda is a non-profit, community-oriented organisation dedicated to improving the mental health and psychosocial wellbeing of vulnerable populations — children, refugees, orphans, widows, and families affected by domestic violence. When you volunteer with us, you become part of a mission that runs deeper than programmes and projects. You become family to someone who has none.

Mental Health Support

Deliver trauma counselling, facilitate support groups, and run psychosocial rehabilitation programmes for individuals who suffer in silence.

Child Protection

Provide care, emergency relief, accommodation, food, and long-term support for orphans, street children, and displaced youth.

Women & Youth Empowerment

Train women and youth in vocational skills, financial literacy, farming, poultry, and VSLA — building sustainable household livelihoods.

Daycare & Safe Spaces

Support our daycare initiative for babies 3 months–3 years old, giving working mothers affected by trauma the freedom to rebuild their lives.

Health & Nutrition

Run community health education and nutrition awareness campaigns tackling communicable and non-communicable diseases in underserved areas.

Environment & Climate

Assess environmental impacts, raise climate change awareness, and promote conservation practices for sustainable community development.
