Overview
You’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Kampala by our guide and embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
The drive takes you northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town, with a stopover for lunch. The Trip will have Mid-range:$1585per adult, $480 per child and Luxury:$1850 per adult, $580 per child

Highlights of the Day :Visit the top of Murchison Falls, witness its beauty in all its glory as it compresses from 50 meters to squeeze through a narrow 6-meter canyon, dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar.
Tip: Dress for the Falls :Don’t forget to bring a sweater or raincoat when visiting the rapid falls to stay dry!
Evening Game Drive: Later in the day, enjoy an exciting evening game drive as you make your way to your lodge, spotting wildlife in their natural habitat. After the game drive, settle into your lodge for the night, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the African wilderness
Itinerary
Day 1: Journey to Murchison Falls National Park
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise Adventure
Start your day with an exhilarating morning game drive via the Nyamsika plateau, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views and spot an array of wildlife including, the Big Five: elephants, lions, buffaloes, and giraffes. Warthogs, bushbucks, waterbucks, and hartebeests. After the game drive, return to your lodge for refreshment, breakfast, and lunch.
Next, prepare for a scenic boat trip on the Victoria Nile, upstream to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls. Along the way, keep an eye out for hippos and crocodiles in the water. A variety of bird species, including pelicans, bee-eaters, egrets, kingfishers, eagles, weaver birds, and herons. The boat will stop near the "Devil's Cauldron," where you can take stunning photos of the falls.
After the boat cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Enjoy the full-board meal plan and relax in the peaceful surroundings.
Day 3: Boat Cruise and Game Drive.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic boat cruise to the delta area of Murchison Falls National Park. This unique experience offers a chance to spot an array of wildlife, including:
- Buffaloes and elephants roaming the riverbanks
- Crocodiles and hippos in the water
- The rare and majestic shoebill stork
As you cruise along the Nile, observe how the river's speed slows down as it deposits sediment before flowing into Lake Albert.
Evening Game Drive:
After the boat cruise, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later, head out on an evening game drive to search for animals you may have missed on the first drive. With the golden light of sunset, the savannah takes on a magical quality, and you may spot a variety of wildlife.
After the game drive, transfer back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and reflect on the day's exciting experiences.
Day 4: The Chimpanzee Tracking Adventure
Start your day with an early breakfast, and then head to the Budongo trekking offices for a briefing on the chimpanzee tracking experience. You'll be divided into groups and led by an experienced ranger guide who will expertly navigate you through the forest.
What to Expect
- Spend up to 1 hour with the chimpanzees, observing their behavior and enjoying the thrilling experience
-Please carry bottled water and favourite snacks, as the tracking may take a few hours
- Birdwatchers will delight in spotting various bird species in the forest, particularly in the Budongo Forest.
After the chimpanzee tracking, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, embark on a nature walk in the Budongo forest, immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of this incredible ecosystem. Later enjoy dinner and an overnight stay reflecting on the day's exciting experiences.
Day 5: Rhino Tracking adventure and Departure
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a thrilling Rhino tracking experience at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This sanctuary plays a vital role in conserving rhinos and working towards re-introducing them to Uganda's national parks where they once thrived. Following your exciting encounter with these majestic creatures, enjoy a satisfying lunch before heading back to Kampala. That marks the end of our 5 days tour.
