Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Pick-up and Transfer

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and meet our representative for a warm welcome. Overnight stay at Lake Victoria View Apartment. Alternatively, we'll pick you up from your preferred location. Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure in Uganda, exploring the country's stunning wildlife, vibrant cities, and local communities.

Day 2: Kampala to Murchison Falls*

Morning Drive and Rhino Encounter

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through the historic Luwero triangle. Visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exhilarating rhino tracking experience, where you'll get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. This trekk and rhino tracking is approximately 2-3 hours

Marvel at Murchison Falls

Upon arrival, visit the top of the falls, a truly awe-inspiring sight. Witness the mighty Nile River, the longest river in the world, as it forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gap in the rock and plunges 43 meters down, creating a spectacular display of power and beauty.

After taking in the breathtaking views, head to your accommodation along the Nile River, where you can unwind and relax. Enjoy a satisfying dinner and spend the night in the serene surroundings of the park. Get ready for an unforgettable day of adventure, wildlife, and natural beauty!

Day 3: Morning Game at Murchsion fall

Start your day with an exhilarating morning game drive. Here you'll enjoy breathtaking views and spot an array of wildlife including, the Big Five: elephants, lions, buffaloes, and giraffes. Warthogs, bushbucks, waterbucks, and hartebeests. After the game drive, return to your lodge for refreshment, breakfast, and lunch.

Next, prepare for a scenic boat trip on the Victoria Nile, upstream to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls. Along the way, keep an eye out for hippos and crocodiles in the water. A variety of bird species, including pelicans, bee-eaters, egrets, kingfishers, eagles, weaver birds, and herons.
The boat will stop near the "Devil's Cauldron," where you can take stunning photos of the falls.

After the boat cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Enjoy the full-board meal plan and relax in the peaceful surroundings.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Departure after breakfast with your safari guide for an 8-10hour journey to Kibale National Park.

Enjoy a meal in Fort Portal town en route. Arrival in the afternoon at Kibale Forest National Park and check-in at your lodge. Relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest

After breakfast, head to Kanyanchu park headquarters for a briefing by the park ranger. Embark on a guided chimpanzee tracking hike through the forest, searching for chimpanzees and other primates like grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys, and red colobus.

Observe the diverse birdlife, butterflies, and insects, with insights from the park ranger. In the afternoon,return to the lodge after the hike and enjoy lunch. Relax and unwind at the lodge. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the lodge, reflecting on the day's adventure.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, located at the foothills of the majestic Ruwenzori Mountain range. This journey is 4-6 hours drive, enjoy scenic views and spot various animals and birds along the way. With opportunities to see about 100 mammal species, including gazelle, Uganda kob, warthog, waterbuck, hippo, and elephant. 606 bird species, adding to the park's incredible biodiversity.

With the afternoon game drive explore the park's diverse wildlife, including Lions, often spotted in the hunting time. Leopards, lazing in the sunshine. Other animals, such as elephants, hippos, and various antelope species. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at your lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the African savannah.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

As the sun rises over the savannah, we embark on an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The golden light casts a warm glow over the landscape, and the air is filled with the sweet songs of birds. We'll be on the lookout for an array of wildlife, including majestic elephants, agile Uganda kobs, and elusive leopards. The Kasenyi sector is known for its abundant wildlife, and we're sure to spot a variety of animals as we make our way through the park.

After a thrilling morning of game viewing, we'll return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast. We'll take our time, savoring the flavors and enjoying the company of our fellow travelers.

In the afternoon, we'll trade in our safari vehicle for a boat and embark on a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This scenic waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward, and is home to a diverse array of aquatic life. We'll spot hippos lounging in the shallows, crocodiles basking in the sun, and a variety of water birds, including herons, egrets, and kingfishers. The cruise offers a unique perspective on the park's wildlife, and we're sure to learn something new about the intricate ecosystem of the Kazinga Channel.

As the day comes to a close, we'll return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation. We'll share stories of our adventures and reflect on the incredible experiences we've had so far on our Uganda safari. And as we drift off to sleep, the sounds of the African night will lull us into a peaceful slumber, ready to face another exciting day in the wilderness.

Day 8: A Scenic Drive to Bwindi's Gorilla Haven

We bid farewell to Queen Elizabeth National Park, we'll embark on a scenic drive to the gorilla trekking paradise of Bwindi. Our journey begins with an early breakfast, fueling up for 5 or more hours drive ahead. As we pass through the Ishasha sector, we'll keep our eyes peeled for the famous tree-climbing lions, lounging in the branches like kings of the savannah.

As we make our way to Bwindi, the landscape will transform, and the lush greenery of the impenetrable forest will envelop us. We'll arrive at our lodge, nestled in the heart of this majestic landscape, and check-in for a well-deserved rest.

Our accommodations will be a haven of comfort, with options to suit every taste and budget. Chameleon Hill Lodge, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge or Gorilla Mist Camp, or budget-friendly options like Rushaga Gorilla Haven or Trekkers Tavern Cottages.

As we settle in, we'll enjoy lunch and dinner. The evening will be a time for relaxation, as we prepare for the adventure that awaits us in the days to come ie trekking to meet the majestic mountain gorillas of Bwindi.

Day 9: The Ultimate Gorilla Trekking Experience

Imagine yourself trekking through the misty, emerald-green hills of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the sounds of the jungle growing louder with every step. The air is thick with anticipation as you embark on an adventure of a lifetime. And boom…meeting the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Your day starts early, with a hot cup of coffee and a snack to fuel your excitement. At 8:00 am, you'll meet your ranger guides at the tourism office for a briefing on what to expect during the trek. You'll set off into the unknown, ready to tackle the challenges of the impenetrable forest.

Day 10: Serenity on Lake Bunyonyi and Journey to Lake Mburo

Sunrise Breakfast, start the day with a delightful breakfast on the lawns, overlooking the majestic Lake Bunyonyi. Embark on a brief yet thrilling boat cruise, gliding across the lake's serene waters and soaking in the cool breezes.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

As we bid farewell to the majestic Lake Bunyonyi, we'll embark on a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park, immersing ourselves in the diverse landscapes and wildlife of Uganda.

We'll check out of our hotel by 11:00 am, taking a last glance at the breathtaking views of Lake Bunyonyi. As we depart, we'll carry with us the memories of our serene boat cruise and the tranquility of the lake's surroundings.

Our journey will take us to the vibrant town of Mbarara, where we'll stop for lunch and savor the local flavors. We'll take a break, relax, and recharge for the next leg of our adventure.

As we drive to Lake Mburo, we'll be surrounded by the scenic beauty of Uganda's countryside. We'll pass through rolling hills, verdant valleys, and picturesque villages, getting a glimpse into the daily lives of the local communities.
As we arrive at Lake Mburo National Park, we'll be struck by its unique landscape and diverse wildlife. We'll check-in to our lodge, nestled in the heart of the park, and enjoy a satisfying dinner and a peaceful night's rest.

Day 11: Immersive Experiences in Lake Mburo National Park

Early Morning Walking Safari

Stay Up Close and Personal on a thrilling walking safari through Lake Mburo National Park, accompanied by an experienced park ranger. Get up close to a variety of wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, impalas, kobs, bush bucks, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, and more. This experience is 3 hours of exploring the park on foot, taking in the sights, sounds, and scents of the African wilderness.

After we head back to the lodge for a delicious lunch,take some time to unwind and recharge before the afternoon's activities. Evenings we embark on a leisurely boat cruise, exploring the lake's aquatic life and spotting hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and more. Take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the lake.

Spend about 3hours cruising the lake, observing the wildlife and soaking up the natural beauty of the area. Evening at return to the lodge for a satisfying dinner and a peaceful night's rest, ready to take on the next day's adventures. Enjoy the evening's tranquility, reflecting on the day's experiences and preparing for the journey ahead.

Day 12: Transfer and Overnight in Masaka

As we conclude our exciting journey through Uganda's wilderness, we'll take a well-deserved break in the charming town of Masaka. Our comfortable accommodations at Kitovu Motel, Brovad or Maria Flo hotel will provide the perfect setting for a restful night's sleep, recharging our batteries for the day ahead.
The next morning, we'll indulge in a mouth-watering breakfast in Masaka town. From traditional dishes to fresh fruits and pastries. The next morning, we'll venture into the countryside, visiting local communities and gaining insight into their daily lives.
We'll witness the vibrant culture, rich traditions, and warm hospitality that Uganda has to offer.

Day 13: Day at the Countryside

Community Visits & Cultural Experiences
