CEDOVIP worked in partnership with Department for International Development (DFID) to prevent Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) – specifically Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)
Pallisa & Bushenyi Districts
CEDOVIP in partnership with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with funding from Green Climate Fund (GCF); and the Ministry of water and Environment (MWE), Ministry of Agriculture Animals and Fisheries (MAAIF), and Uganda National Meteorological Agency (UNMA). The pilot seeks to end Gender based Violence (GBV) and achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by integrating and implementing a GBV risk mitigation and Prevention strategy with in the "Building resilient Communities, wetlands Ecosystems and Associated Catchments" project in Pallisa and Bushenyi districts.
Adjumani, Obongi and Lamwo Districts
CEDOVIP works in partnership with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with funding from Korea International Cooperation Agency to enhance the capacities for mainstreaming gender equity/GBV prevention among key sub-national government agencies, communities, livelihood actors and private sector in Adjumani, Obongi and Lamwo Districts.
National
CEDOVIP works in partnership with UNWOMEN to advocate at national level for law reform and implementation engagement in policy and legal reform with parliament and Uganda Law Reform Commission; Legal literacy campaign; Advocacy campaigns; Coordination of the DVA coalition; and Advocacy for reforming institutional practices to deliver survivor-centered services.
